Karyss is a 2nd grade, who has repeated second. She will be turning 8 in August. She has an individualized education plan in place to support her writing and reading comprehension. As of April 29th, she started coming to for support with number sense, multiple step word problems and fact fluency. Her math grades have been three all quarter long. Cognitively, she has an even profile: General Conceptual Ability = 95 Average, Verbal = 96 Average, Nonverbal Reasoning = 96 Average, Spatial = 98 Average. These scores show that she has the ability perform on a grade level task. On the Second grade CASE 21, which is a county benchmark assessment she scored two at 39%. The interview took place in the CCR one on one. I read all directions and riddles out loud. It took two days to complete the interview because she was very thoughtful and struggled through it to help me with my homework. There were times …show more content…
Even thou, geometry involve shapes, nature, conjectures, proofs, angles, formulas and patty paper, one needs the common language to express attributes. She was able to tell the number of sides a triangle, pentagon, and rectangles. She could not complete parallel line task because she did not know what parallel meant, which affected the parallelogram activity. I know that we were not supposed to give instruction, but what a great learning moment we shared. We found lines and shapes in the classroom environment and talk about where the lines started and ended. We addressed corners and where two lines met. We traced tile lines on the floor. She came to the conclusions that “top and bottom don’t touch.” We marked parallel lines and talked about what parallel meant. She remembered parallel the next day so it did make sense in her mind. In fact, she remembered the words from the warm-up. Many activities had a rubric that made it clear on how to analysis the
The game was about the following direction while creating different shapes using mathematical concepts such as lines, left and right. I had to create figures with blocks as I moved along. There were several sections that I had to complete. Each section was getting a little more complicated to accomplish because there were more steps to follow. You can say that we had to use algorithms because we had to follow a process to problem solve. I had to read and know which direction I would choose so that my character would finish their task. In order to pass to the next level, you were supposed to finish the first puzzle or section that you were on. The game that I had did not provide hints like the first one that I tried. The game had a lot of repetition which provided a choose for several turns in one.
At first I did not not feel very confident when trying to answer this question because I could not remember the method involved when converting scale. I was able to interpret the question and I understood what it required; however, I could not recall the process involved in reaching the answer. After trying a few different methods and giving it some thought, I remembered what to do. I had learnt how to answer these questions in high school geography and I still had the knowledge, but I just had to go through the process of recalling it. So, the method I used to solve the problem was to write out the scale used in the diagram as a ratio, simplify it and then convert it to a written statement. Thus, I was unsure about how to answer this question
Hi Ms. Arlene, As discussed, Shell renewed their placement until Nov. 09, 2015. Per agreement we will continue our queuing in the said site. Also to include in queuing is the north bound faced of the billboard. Hope you can sign the revised conforme for site assurance.
During this week’s assignment, Peterson (2015) tackles critical components of listening skills. The listening component that I find myself needing to work on is that of not defending what I perceive as attacks against my character during my interactions both with co-workers and family. Naturally, if I am devoting my thoughts to responding or defending my actions, how can I be effectively listening? In addition, when counteracting a statement with a defensive posture or verbal cues, it insights the other individual to feel attacked, resulting in a vicious cycle of both parties being defensive and no one listening or understanding one another (Peterson, 2015).
My results from the EYMCT, in the areas around the Australian Curriculum strand of Statistics and Probability, demonstrated that I correctly interpreted the terminology of categorical variables question. I was able to determine which answer could be categorised and although the odd answer “Average children ages in the classroom” is still related to statistics it is not a categorical variable. The same is true with understanding the terminology of mathematical statements in probability. Knowing the language surrounding statistic and probability and understand the content is a crucial knowledge that enables me to correctly answer the question and will facilitate me as an educator to pedagogically impart to the students the vocabulary, techniques

1. In the first half of the Eagles game are team was playing out of the back a lot but there could have been times where we played the ball in the middle and split the other teams. There was a play in the video were Less had the ball and Jenna opened up and received the ball from Less and Jenna gave a good ball to me but, I looked around my shoulder and saw pressure coming so I quickly gave the ball back to Jenna. When I gave the ball back to Jenna I should have opened up and tried to receive it back from her so that I could try to change the point of attack.
Laduna, I really enjoyed reading your post. You gave a very good description of each question. I also think you did a great job on listing the steps that we use to code. It is very important that we go by the list that you listed in order to determine the correct code. I would hate to cause a billing error in the future all because I didn't go by the list. I definitely plan on keeping a copy to look at just to make sure I am coding correctly in the future. And I also liked how you explained the 4 conventions. At first I had the most trouble understanding exactly what the conventions were for but after reading about them a couple of times I understand them much better. And I also understand how important convention play in ICD-10-CM. I'm still

VG is a thirty-one-year-old female who comes in for a routine follow-up. She reports that she has been feeling excessive fatigue over the last month. She also notes that she is having some problems at work, not only because of her fatigue but also because of difficulty concentrating. She also notes that she has gained 10 pounds over the last month, and she is unable to identify the cause of the weight gain. She also notes that her periods are a little heavier and more irregular. She is currently taking daily ferrous sulfate and over-the-counter calcium. According to VG’s medical record, she had a TSH level of 4.2 mIL/L about a year ago. Although, Her previous blood levels were slightly elevated, VG’s previous medical provider did not schedule retesting as, no further follow-up lab was deemed necessary at the time. Repeat blood work today reveals a TSH level of 9.8 mIL/L and a free T4 of 0.72 ng/dL.
This week’s assignment involved understanding how functions work in the context of Python. The programming assignment is the most useful part in this chapter as it allows me to practice some more on programming Python. While working on the assignment, I was trying to think of the most efficient way to write code for this assignment, and I ended up defining to additional functions in addition to two functions required to complete the assignment. The first function tells Python to print one blank space. The second function tells Python to print three blank lines. Then, I combined the two function into the two required functions for this assignment. I started to understand how a well-defined functions can be used as a building block for other part of the

1.The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) publishes a report card every four to five years grading the condition of sixteen infrastructural systems that are vital to the US. Unfortunately, America’s 2013 GPA is a D+ (which is actually up from the 2009 GPA of D-). Visit the ASCE report card web site at http://www.infrastructurereportcard.org/ (Links to an external site.) , select one the sixteen that you feel provides the most risk to global logistics and SCM. Write a brief discussion (no more than ½ page) supporting your claim.
